Voicing Steinway Grand

This late 1800’s 85-Note Steinway had been rebuilt about 30 years ago. The hammers had gotten hard, causing the tone in the middle and upper areas to be very strident and harsh. I was able to ‘voice” the piano by needling the hammers, softening the tone.Bethesda Grand
